As a Coach for the NOW FC Organization, you are a direct representation of our Company and brand.
You are expected to represent the NOW FC Organization with professionalism as well as follow the
guideline set out below.
As a NOW FC Coach you agree to:
• Abide by the basic philosophy of the NOW FC Organization and all Organization Policies
• Lead by example demonstrating sportsmanship and respect
• Use positive reinforcement as a teaching tool
• Strive to create an atmosphere of mutual respect between team members, as well as coaching
staff, parents, opponents, referees, and spectators
• Demonstrate a positive attitude - Coaches are expected to show a positive, respectful attitude
for everyone involved in the sport. Criticism and disrespect for the Organization and league
officials, referees, opponents, coaches or fans undermine the purpose of sport and encourage
behavior contrary to the spirit of the game and the mission of NOW FC's Organization.
• Conduct himself/herself with the highest moral character, integrity and honesty, and to be a
positive role model for the young athletes who play soccer- not only those who play on the
Coach’s teams, but all teams with whom they compete.
• Conduct himself/herself in public to that end, such that the image of the Coach is an asset to the
NOW FC Organization
• Conduct himself/herself at all times in the best interests of NOW FC's Organization and do not
act in a way that may injure the Organization’s business, its interests or its reputation
• Stress fair play by observing the Laws of the Game and strive for high levels of sporting conduct.
• Model grace, dignity and composure, win or lose.
• Promote the principle that everyone is worthy of being treated with respect and dignity and
refrain from taunting and any act that demeans, disrespects, or threatens anyone.
• Participate in NOW FC's Organizations events, attend coach’s meetings, and support other teams
within the Organization however possible.
• Support diversity by modeling inclusive behavior and creating opportunities for engagement.
• Oppose discrimination based on race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation and
any other form.
• Never engage in any verbal, physical, emotional or sexual abuse or harassment
• Draft and implement my own Team guidelines for parents and players, both of which should be
disclosed and discussed during preseason. These guidelines should align with NOW FC's
Organization’s values and should address: Practice/game attendance policies;
Appropriate gear at training/games; travel rules, etc.
• Attend all required NOW FC's Organization meetings. Any absence must be reported to a
Director.
• Consistently and continuously seek further coaching education.
• Abide by the uniform dress code of the Organization and wear appropriate branded merchandise
in-line with Organization brand partner

I acknowledge that I have received the NOW FC Organization (the “Organization” or “Club”) Code of
Conduct, either in electronic or paper format. I certify that I have read the complete Code of Conduct,
and have had an opportunity to ask members of management to answer my questions about the Code
of Conduct.
I understand that the Code of Conduct serves as a set of guidelines only. Since no set of policies can
anticipate every possible circumstance or situation that may arise, I understand that individual
circumstances may call for individual attention.
I further understand that the contents of this Code of Conduct may be changed at any time at the discretion of the Organization.
